LeadZik Refund and Lead Credit Policy

Last Updated: August 28, 2026

This Refund and Lead Credit Policy governs Lead purchases, Platform Credits, Original-Payment Refunds, billing corrections, and related account adjustments made through LeadZik, operated by AuraDox Enterprises LLC. This Policy is incorporated into and made part of the LeadZik Terms of Service.

By purchasing a Lead, enabling Autopay, using Platform Credits, or otherwise accessing Lead information through LeadZik, you agree to this Refund and Lead Credit Policy.

1. General Refund and Credit Rule

1.1. Qualified Lead purchases are generally final once Lead information is delivered and made available to the purchasing account, whether or not the account opens, views, exports, contacts, or responds to the Lead.

1.2. LeadZik does not guarantee that any lead will result in a booked appointment, estimate, signed contract, completed project, payment, revenue, profit, or any other business outcome.

1.3. A purchased Qualified Lead represents access to Lead information meeting the objective criteria in the Terms based on the information reasonably available at delivery. It does not represent a guaranteed sale, customer, conversation, appointment, project, profit, or exclusivity outside LeadZik.

1.4. A "Platform Credit" is a non-cash account credit usable only for future Lead purchases. An "Original-Payment Refund" is money returned to the payment method actually charged.

1.5. Verified Lead-quality remedies and duplicate-billing corrections are generally issued as Platform Credits. A charge LeadZik determines was unauthorized will be returned to the original payment method where practicable. LeadZik may also issue an Original-Payment Refund when applicable law requires it or LeadZik expressly approves that remedy. Nothing in this Policy limits a remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.

2. What LeadZik Verifies

2.1. LeadZik uses internal systems, third-party tools, fraud screening, data validation, automated review, manual review, and/or AI-assisted systems to evaluate leads before or after delivery.

2.2. LeadZik may verify or evaluate, among other things:

  • Contact information validity
  • Homeowner or property-related intent
  • Project category
  • Service-area relevance
  • Duplicate or suspicious submissions
  • Fraud indicators
  • Lead form information
  • Source, timestamp, IP, device, and behavioral signals
  • Other commercially reasonable lead-quality indicators

2.3. A Qualified Lead is a Lead that, at delivery: (a) was submitted as a request for the applicable service category; (b) contains at least one materially usable contact method; (c) identifies a location within the account’s saved service area; and (d) was not previously sold by LeadZik to the same account for the same Consumer and substantially the same project.

2.4. A contact method is materially usable if it appears reasonably capable of reaching the Consumer at delivery. Qualification does not require the Consumer to answer, respond, schedule, purchase, maintain interest, or remain legally contactable through every possible outreach method.

2.5. LeadZik obtains or receives available Consumer consent records for Leads distributed through the Platform. Consent documentation for a purchased Lead may be requested by contacting support@leadzik.com and identifying the Lead. Available documentation does not relieve you of your independent obligation to verify TCPA, Do-Not-Call, opt-out, revocation, and other applicable outreach requirements before contact.

3. Speed to Lead and Contractor Responsibility

3.1. Contractor performance, outreach speed, sales process, follow-up process, pricing, reputation, licensing, reviews, availability, communication style, call handling, text messaging, estimating process, and closing ability are outside of LeadZik’s control.

3.2. Contractors are responsible for contacting purchased leads quickly and professionally. Delayed outreach may materially reduce the likelihood of reaching or closing a lead.

3.3. A lead is not refundable merely because:

  • The contractor called too late
  • The contractor did not text, email, or follow up
  • The lead did not answer the first call
  • The lead went to voicemail
  • The consumer hung up
  • The consumer was not interested after speaking with the contractor
  • The contractor failed to book an estimate
  • The contractor failed to close the job
  • The contractor’s pricing was rejected
  • The contractor’s sales process did not convert the lead
  • The consumer chose another company
  • The consumer delayed or canceled the project
  • The contractor subjectively believes the lead was not valuable

3.4. LeadZik is not responsible for a contractor’s failure to convert a lead into revenue.

4. Objective Eligibility Grounds

4.1. A timely request is eligible for a Platform Credit when LeadZik verifies an objective material defect, including:

  • No materially usable contact method was provided at delivery
  • The same Consumer and substantially the same project were delivered to the same account more than once because of a LeadZik error
  • LeadZik sold the same Consumer and substantially the same project to more than one LeadZik contractor account in violation of the Terms
  • A LeadZik error routed the Lead materially outside the account’s saved service area or service category
  • The submission was clearly fake, fraudulent, spam, test data, or materially unrelated to the represented request
  • A materially defective contact record caused by a confirmed LeadZik system issue

4.2. Eligibility requires objective verification through reasonably reliable internal records, carrier or delivery signals, third-party validation tools, system logs, Consumer confirmation, screenshots, or other relevant evidence.

4.3. An invalid phone number alone does not qualify if a materially usable email or other contact method was provided. An invalid email alone does not qualify if a materially usable phone number or other contact method was provided. Nonresponse does not make an otherwise usable contact method invalid.

4.4. A Platform Credit under this Section ordinarily equals the amount actually charged for the affected Lead, excluding taxes, promotional credits, bonus credits, coupons, discounts, previously issued credits, and other non-cash adjustments.

5. Case-by-Case Review Grounds

5.1. All refund requests not covered by Section 4 are reviewed case by case.

5.2. Case-by-case review does not guarantee approval.

5.3. LeadZik may consider a discretionary refund, credit, partial credit, or denial where there is objective evidence of a material issue, including but not limited to:

  • The consumer information was materially misrepresented in a way LeadZik can verify
  • A partial but material data defect reduced the reasonable utility of the Lead without eliminating every usable contact method
  • Other objective defects verified by LeadZik

5.4. LeadZik may deny a request where the issue relates primarily to sales outcome, consumer behavior after purchase, contractor outreach quality, contractor delay, contractor pricing, contractor availability, or contractor follow-up.

6. Examples

6.1. Example of a likely approved credit: A contractor receives a Lead whose phone number is confirmed disconnected and whose email is confirmed undeliverable, with no other materially usable contact method. LeadZik verifies the defect. This would generally qualify for a Platform Credit.

6.2. Example of a likely denied refund: A contractor purchases a lead, waits several hours or days to contact the homeowner, leaves one voicemail, and the homeowner does not call back. If the phone number and email are valid, this is generally not refundable.

6.3. Example of a case-by-case request: A contractor receives a roof replacement Lead, but the Consumer states they requested gutter cleaning only. LeadZik may review the submission, call data, project details, and system logs to determine whether the Lead was materially miscategorized.

6.4. Example of a non-refundable sales issue: A contractor reaches the homeowner, but the homeowner says the price is too high, chooses another contractor, or decides not to move forward. This is not a lead-data defect and is generally not refundable.

7. Refund Request Requirements

7.1. To request review, the contractor must submit a refund request within 7 calendar days of purchasing the lead unless LeadZik states otherwise in writing.

7.2. The request must include a clear written explanation of the issue.

7.3. LeadZik may require reasonable supporting evidence, including:

  • Call logs
  • Text screenshots
  • Email bounce records
  • CRM notes
  • Screenshots
  • Communication history
  • Notes from the consumer conversation
  • Other documentation reasonably requested by LeadZik

7.4. Unless the request involves an objectively verifiable absence of every materially usable contact method, LeadZik may require commercially reasonable and lawful outreach attempts, including at least:

  • One phone call
  • One text message, if text-capable and legally permitted
  • One email, if an email was provided and legally permitted
  • Reasonable follow-up within a commercially reasonable timeframe

7.5. LeadZik may deny requests that are incomplete, late, unsupported, inconsistent, misleading, abusive, or not based on an objective lead-data defect.

7.6. LeadZik may extend the seven-day deadline for a latent defect that the contractor could not reasonably have discovered within seven days.

7.7. A contractor may request one written human appeal within 7 calendar days after a denial by identifying the decision and any material evidence not previously considered.

8. Non-Refundable Situations

8.1. The following are generally not refundable:

  • Accidental purchases
  • Autopay purchases triggered under enabled account settings
  • Late outreach
  • Failure to follow up
  • No answer, voicemail, or missed calls where contact information is valid
  • Consumer delay
  • Consumer cancellation
  • Consumer change of mind
  • Consumer choosing another contractor
  • Consumer saying they are "just shopping around"
  • Consumer requesting multiple quotes
  • Consumer refusing the contractor’s price
  • Contractor inability to service the location
  • Contractor licensing, insurance, staffing, scheduling, or availability issues
  • Contractor dissatisfaction with project size, budget, or expected profit
  • Contractor failure to close the job
  • Contractor failure to contact the lead professionally or promptly
  • Disputes based only on subjective lead quality
  • Requests submitted after the deadline
  • Requests without supporting evidence
  • Requests involving valid leads that did not convert

9. Review Process

9.1. LeadZik may review refund requests using internal staff, automated systems, third-party tools, AI-assisted systems, communication records, account activity, lead metadata, validation services, and any other information LeadZik considers relevant.

9.2. LeadZik may contact the consumer, review system logs, review lead submission data, inspect account history, evaluate fraud signals, or request more information from the contractor.

9.3. LeadZik will ordinarily decide a complete request within 5–7 business days, but complex, fraudulent, incomplete, or third-party-dependent reviews may reasonably take longer.

9.4. If a timely human appeal is requested under Section 7.7, LeadZik will review the original decision and any material new evidence. The appeal decision is final except where applicable law provides otherwise.

9.5. LeadZik is not required to disclose confidential fraud-detection methods, scoring systems, internal validation logic, vendor tools, source data, personal information belonging to another person, or proprietary review criteria.

10. Approved Refunds, Billing Corrections, and Credits

10.1. Approved Lead-quality remedies are generally issued as Platform Credits unless LeadZik states otherwise or applicable law requires an Original-Payment Refund.

10.2. Credits may be applied toward future lead purchases only.

10.3. Credits are not cash, have no cash value, are not redeemable for money, and are not transferable.

10.4. If a purchase was made using a combination of cash and credits, LeadZik may issue any approved adjustment proportionally, as credits, or in another manner LeadZik determines appropriate.

10.5. Promotional credits, bonus credits, courtesy credits, free credits, coupons, discounts, and other non-cash incentives are not refundable.

10.6. LeadZik may offset, adjust, revoke, or correct a credit issued because of demonstrably false, materially incomplete, fraudulent, or duplicate information, or an evident processing error, after notice through the account or support channel.

10.7. A verified duplicate-billing correction is issued as a Platform Credit. A charge LeadZik determines was unauthorized will be returned to the original payment method where practicable. LeadZik may also issue an Original-Payment Refund when applicable law requires it or LeadZik expressly approves that remedy.

11. Abuse, Fraud, and Chargebacks

11.1. LeadZik may deny requests, correct credits, restrict purchasing, deactivate Automatic Lead Delivery, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or refuse future service when reasonably supported by evidence of abuse, fraud, manipulation, repeated bad-faith claims, fabricated evidence, or attempts to retain Lead Data while knowingly avoiding payment.

11.2. Before disputing an authorized charge with a payment provider, the contractor agrees, where permitted and reasonably practicable, to contact LeadZik promptly and provide a reasonable opportunity to investigate. Nothing in this Policy prevents a cardholder from promptly reporting a genuinely unauthorized transaction or exercising a right that cannot lawfully be waived.

11.3. LeadZik may contest a chargeback using relevant account, consent, delivery, pricing, settings, transaction, support, and Lead-access records. A processor decision does not finally adjudicate the parties’ underlying contract rights. Recovery is limited as provided in the Terms.

12. Automatic Lead Delivery and Payment Methods

12.1. LeadZik uses Automatic Lead Delivery. An active account requires a valid saved payment method and completed delivery settings. LeadZik may automatically deliver and charge for Qualified Leads matching those settings up to the monthly Lead-count limits selected by the account. LeadZik does not provide a manual mode for approving individual Leads before purchase.

12.2. LeadZik is a pay-per-Qualified-Lead service and does not charge a subscription, membership, retainer, or recurring monthly platform fee. Current unit prices are available through "Open Pricing." LeadZik gives at least 7 calendar days’ advance email or in-app notice before a prospective price increase.

12.3. By affirmatively accepting the Agreement, adding a payment method, and activating Automatic Lead Delivery, the Customer authorizes LeadZik and its payment processor to store a payment-method token and make the variable off-session charges described in the Terms.

12.4. If the current Account Launch Commitment was disclosed and affirmatively accepted during signup or activation, activation creates a binding minimum purchase commitment satisfied once Completed Lead Spend reaches $1,200. Completed Lead Purchase count does not satisfy or reduce this minimum.

12.5. Before the $1,200 minimum is reached, a Customer may voluntarily terminate by paying the Early Termination Balance, calculated as $1,200 minus Completed Lead Spend. For example, if the account has $600 in Completed Lead Spend, the Early Termination Balance is $600.

12.6. Upon an authenticated early-termination request, the Early Termination Balance becomes due and, unless authorization was already validly revoked, may be processed as one final saved-payment-method charge. After successful payment, LeadZik will deactivate the account and process payment-method removal. If the charge cannot lawfully be processed or is declined, the balance remains contractually owed and no new Leads will be delivered.

12.7. No valid saved payment method means no active account and no new Lead delivery. Reporting or removing a lost, stolen, expired, compromised, unauthorized, or legally restricted payment method is always permitted, but does not extinguish an Account Launch Commitment previously accepted. Revocation stops future card charges after it becomes effective but does not erase an independently enforceable balance.

13. No Waiver

13.1. If LeadZik approves a refund, credit, courtesy adjustment, or exception in one situation, that does not require LeadZik to approve similar requests in the future.

13.2. Each lead, purchase, account, contractor, consumer, project, and refund request may involve different facts and will be reviewed independently.

14. Changes to This Policy

14.1. LeadZik may make prospective nonmaterial or legally required updates by posting a revised version and updating the "Last Updated" date.

14.2. A change that materially expands payment authorization, creates or increases a minimum commitment or termination charge, or materially reduces an existing refund right applies prospectively only after reasonable advance notice and affirmative electronic acceptance.

14.3. A material update does not retroactively alter a purchase, activation, dispute, or payment obligation arising under an earlier version unless both parties expressly agree.
